Tammy Lynn is a powerhouse community builder and live event producer who brings people together where tech, creativity, and purpose collide.

She’s the creator of the SXSW Community Grant Program and the founding force behind SXSW’s Social Impact track—curating spaces where global changemakers come to share bold ideas and spark real action. Her career spans 20+ countries, from producing innovation summits for Singularity University to launching UN-endorsed campaigns and public health exhibitions for Africa CDC.

Tammy Lynn also builds community in quieter, more personal ways—whether as Community Lead for Gowalla, co-leading songwriting workshops at the Omega Institute, or performing in a musical duo with her husband, Colin Gilmore. For her, music is more than art—it’s connection.
